About Me

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017 with my Masters in Professional Counseling. I have over 2,000 hours of experience working with individuals, couples, and families ranging in age from 3 to 60.

My ideal client is someone 10 years-old or older who is struggling with issues related to anxiety and/or depression and is seeking to improve their mental health. I enjoy working with LGBTQ individuals and even have  experience working with LGBTQ couples. Of course, clients across the gender identity and sexuality spectrums are welcome, including those who are cisgender and heterosexual. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I enjoy helping clients through life transitions such as starting college and exploring career options.

My therapy style is eclectic, but I do enjoy utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) methods. I have recently had an increased interest in incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness skills. I have training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), so I am DBT-informed but not fully DBT adherent. Most importantly, my style of therapy is informed by my own personal experiences with mental health throughout my life, so I have a genuine understanding of how difficult it can be to seek therapy.

I am a Native Nashvillian and grew up in the Donelson-Hermitage area. I began working in Hendersonville due to my husband's job. I enjoy hiking, watching Netflix/TV, and spending time with my 1-year-old son.
